This Cookie Policy explains how HyperFX ("HyperFX", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://hyperfx.pro (the "Site") and in connection with our information and educational platform for traders (the "Service"). It describes what these technologies are, which categories we use, why we use them, how long they typically last, and how you can manage or withdraw your consent.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in those documents.
1. About HyperFX and the purpose of this policy
HyperFX is an information and educational resource only. We provide AI-assisted analysis of user-uploaded chart screenshots, a trade journal, strategy and setup feeds, and tracking of public traders' prediction accuracy, for the cryptocurrency and forex markets.
HyperFX does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice, personalized recommendations, solicitations, or any offer to buy or sell any asset, and does not provide portfolio management. HyperFX is not a broker, exchange, financial advisor, or fiduciary, and is not regulated or authorized by any financial authority unless expressly stated. We make no guarantee of profit, accuracy, or any outcome, and there are no "typical results". Crypto and forex are high-risk; you can lose all of your capital, leverage magnifies losses, and past performance does not indicate future results. AI output may be inaccurate or wrong, and you must independently verify everything.
Nothing on the Site, including anything enabled or measured by cookies, should be interpreted as advice or as a guarantee of any outcome. Cookies are used solely to operate, secure, remember preferences for, and measure the performance of the Site as described below.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to recognize your device, remember information about your visit, and improve your experience. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by a domain other than the one you are visiting are called third-party cookies.
Cookies may be:
- Session cookies, which are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser; or
- Persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
We also use similar technologies that perform functions comparable to cookies, including:
- Local storage and session storage (browser-based storage used to retain settings or application state on your device);
- Pixels, web beacons, and tags (small pieces of code used to record activity such as page views);
- Software development kits (SDKs) and similar identifiers used by third-party providers.
In this policy, references to "cookies" include these similar technologies unless stated otherwise.
3. How we ask for your consent (consent mechanism)
When you first visit the Site, and again as described below, we present a cookie consent banner.
- Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because they are essential for the Site to function. They do not require your consent.
- All other cookies (preferences / functionality) are not placed until you give your consent by clicking "Accept" or by enabling them in our preference center. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
- The banner lets you accept all, reject all, or customize your choices by category. Refusing non-essential cookies is as easy as accepting them.
- Non-essential cookies are only loaded after you opt in. If you do not make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are used.
How long your consent lasts (re-consent interval). Your consent is not indefinite. We will ask you to renew your consent at least every 12 months, and sooner if our cookie use materially changes (for example, if we add a new category or a new third-party provider). This consent lifetime is aligned with the lifetime of the consent-storage cookie described in Section 4.1, so that when that record expires you will be asked to make your choices again.
We keep a record of your consent, including the choices you made, the date and time, and the version of the banner and policy in effect. These records are retained so we can demonstrate that valid consent was obtained, and they are themselves stored using a strictly necessary cookie or equivalent technology.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 8). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.
4. Categories of cookies we use
We organize cookies into the categories below. Strictly necessary cookies are always active; all other categories are optional and depend on your consent.
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies (always active — no consent required)
These cookies are essential for the Site to operate and to provide the Service you have requested. Without them, core features such as logging in, securing your session, and remembering your cookie choices would not work. They are typically first-party cookies.

You cannot disable strictly necessary cookies through our preference center, but you can block them through your browser settings (see Section 8). Doing so may prevent parts of the Site from working.
4.2 Preferences / functionality cookies (consent required)
These cookies allow the Site to remember your interface and display choices so that the Site behaves the way you expect on your next visit. They are mostly first-party cookies. In this context, "preferences" refers only to UI and site settings (such as language and theme) and never to any investment or trading recommendation.

If you refuse these cookies, the Site will still work, but some preferences may not be remembered between visits.
4.3 Analytics / performance cookies
We do not use third-party web analytics or error-tracking services, and we do not set third-party analytics or advertising cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the Site.
Any limited performance or diagnostic information we use is derived from first-party, essential logging (covered under strictly necessary cookies in Section 4.1) and is not shared with any third-party analytics provider. There is no separate analytics cookie category to accept or refuse.
> Note: HyperFX does not use cookies to provide financial advice, to build advertising profiles, or to make any personalized investment or trading recommendation. We do not use marketing, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies. If this ever changes, we will update this policy, add the relevant category, and obtain your consent before any such cookies are placed.
5. First-party vs. third-party cookies
- First-party cookies are set by HyperFX directly and are used for functions such as authentication, security, preferences, and our own essential measurement.
- Third-party cookies are limited to those that may be set by our crypto payment processor on its own hosted checkout/payment pages when you make a payment. We do not use third-party web analytics, advertising, or error-tracking cookies, and we do not embed third-party media or widgets that set cookies. Any third party may process data in accordance with its own privacy and cookie policies, over which we have limited control.
The third parties whose cookies or similar technologies may be used on the Site include the categories below. Please review each provider's policy for details on how it uses cookies and how to opt out.

We will keep this list updated. The specific providers in use are confirmed in our preference center.
International / cross-border data transfers. Some third-party providers (for example, our crypto payment processor) are located in, or may process cookie-derived personal data in, countries outside the jurisdiction in which the owner of hyperfx.pro is established. Where personal data collected through cookies is transferred outside the jurisdiction in which the owner of hyperfx.pro is established, such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards — for example, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, where applicable) or a relevant adequacy decision. 6. Purposes and approximate lifetimes
The tables in Section 4 set out, for each category, the purpose of the cookies and their approximate lifetime. Lifetimes are approximate because they can change when providers update their technologies, and persistent cookies may be refreshed during later visits. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies expire after the periods indicated or when you delete them. We do not retain cookie-based information longer than necessary for the purposes described.
7. Cookies and personal data
Some cookies may collect information that is, or can be combined to become, personal data (for example, an online identifier or IP address). Where this is the case, the processing is described in our Privacy Policy, including the legal bases we rely on and how any such data may be transferred internationally (see Section 5 above and the international data transfers section of the Privacy Policy). In summary:
- Strictly necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site, and on the necessity of processing to perform our contract with you.
- Preferences / functionality cookies rely on your consent. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

8. How to manage, disable, or withdraw consent
You can control cookies in several ways.
8.1 Through our preference center
You can review and change your choices at any time using our cookie preference center, accessible via the "Cookie settings" link in the Site footer (or the on-screen banner). From there you can enable or disable each optional category and withdraw consent you previously gave. Changes take effect immediately for future processing.
8.2 Through your browser
Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies through their settings. You can usually set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being set. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from functioning. Browser help pages include:

8.3 Through third-party opt-outs
We do not use third-party web analytics or advertising cookies, so there are no third-party analytics opt-outs to apply. If our crypto payment processor sets cookies on its own hosted payment pages, you can review and manage those through the processor's own privacy and cookie policy.
The Site remains usable if you refuse or delete non-essential cookies; only optional features such as remembered preferences are affected.
9. Browser signals: Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Some browsers and extensions can send automated privacy signals, such as a Do Not Track (DNT) header or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
- Do Not Track (DNT). There is currently no common industry or legal standard for recognizing or responding to DNT signals. Unless and until such a standard is adopted and we state otherwise, the Site does not respond to DNT signals. Regardless of any DNT signal, non-essential cookies are only set after you opt in through our consent banner or preference center, as described in Sections 3 and 8.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by applicable law, we treat a valid GPC signal received through your browser as a request to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the "CCPA/CPRA"). We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information and do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies; nonetheless, when we receive a valid GPC signal, we honour it for the browser and device from which it is sent.

10. Children and minors
The Site and the Service are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly set cookies for, or collect cookie-derived personal data from, children under the applicable age of consent in their jurisdiction (for example, under 16 in parts of the EEA, under 13 in the United States, or such other age as local law specifies). If you believe a child has used the Site or that we have inadvertently set cookies for a child, please contact us at support@hyperfx.pro. 11. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, legal or regulatory requirements, or our practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and version above.
- Non-essential (consent-required) cookies. Where a change affects non-essential cookies — for example, a new analytics provider or a new category — we will obtain fresh affirmative consent through our consent banner or preference center before any such cookies are placed. Continued use of, or continued browsing on, the Site is never treated as consent for non-essential cookies and does not substitute for that affirmative consent.
- Informational (non-consent) updates. For purely informational updates that do not change the cookies we set or require consent (for example, clarifications of wording or contact details), we may simply post the revised policy with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after such informational changes take effect indicates your awareness of the updated policy.
